What did I do?!

My 3 kids and I had a blast at a birthday party tonight for their cousin. While we were there my 1 year old and 5 year old were given belated birthday gifts.

After the party we load up in the car and the kids' laps are full of goodies. We are just a few miles from home, it is dark outside, and I am driving. I notice red and blue lights flashing. I am freaking out okay! I have never been pulled over before and I was not even going the speed limit let alone going over it. I began slowing down and check my mirrors to figure out where the police car is and I cannot find it. I look back over my shoulder thinking the car is in a blindspot and realize the lights flashing was my 1 year old's birthday toy. Lol!

Spring why won't you stay...

Spring was in the air yesterday and is again today but after today it is going to feel like winter again. If only Spring would stay. We took advantage of the beautiful weather though and went to the park. My 1 year old was so thrilled to be outside all she could do was run around and giggle. It was so cute. She was so excited she could care less about the playground equipment; she was too fascinated by the grass.

I was also a very proud Mama to see my 5 year old and 3 year old sharing their brand new sand toys with all of the other kids. They even invited other kids to play with them.

Yesterday was one of the days I was thinking, "Yep, those are my kids!" Lol. You know those times your kids throw tantrums, are rude, or are just being bullies? And you are so mortified? Of course you don't right? Well yesterday was the first day at the park for the year and I am so glad it started off the year so well.
